About us

Sagentia Innovation provides independent advisory and leading-edge product development services to a broad range of companies from some of the world’s leading and best-known brands, to start-up disruptors. We operate projects ranging in scale from £10k to £10m and serve customers across the medical, industrial, chemicals and energy, defence, food and beverage, and consumer sectors. We are part of Science Group (AIM:SAG), which has more than ten offices globally, two UK-based dedicated R&D innovation centers and more than 400 employees.

Our focus on sustainability

Sustainability is a significant area of practice within Sagentia Innovation, leveraging the unique blend of advisory, technical, compliance and regulatory expertise across Science Group. This allows us to bring technical, commercial and regulatory perspective to support the world’s biggest companies resolving their most difficult sustainability challenges.

Recent examples of sustainability challenges resolved for some of our global clients:

  • Foresight: What will be the future for circularity of plastics taking into account multiple stakeholder viewpoints (regulators & policy makers, NGOs, consumers, retailers, trade associations etc) and how can R&D ensure they have the strategy for operating in the circular economy of the future
  • Strategy: How can systems change be achieved in complex multi-stakeholder systems with the intent of unlocking sustainability?
  • Net Zero Roadmap: What should be the low-carbon technology roadmap for the short-, medium- and long-term, encompassing both current technology plans and newly identified technologies to close the emissions gap?
  • Appraising alternative technologies: What solutions are there to replace current surfactant sources and how viable are they technically, commercially and are they actually more sustainable across a range of metrics?
