Sagentia Innovation owns over 110,000 sq ft of research and development facilities across our Cambridge and Epsom sites with specialist labs and facilities to support the R&D work we do.
Our labs offer extensive general lab space, with a fully-equipped machine shop, and specialist laboratories for electronics, optics, chemistry, environmental testing, microscopy, microbiology, sensory evaluation and more.
We have several breakout areas throughout both sites for our advisory team to discuss and brainstorm market trends and technologies to discover new insights.
Differential scanning calorimetry, chromatography & thermogravimetric analysis, rheology, electrochemical and spectroscopy instruments can all be found in our chemistry lab along with a comprehensive range of stock chemicals.
A lab dedicated to developing microfluidic consumables and instrumentation for research in clinical use. With reagent storage, sensor technologies, electrowetting, microfluidic controllers and pumps, it is ideal for early prototyping and testing of the consumables and assemblies at the heart of many IVD and life science instruments.
A lab with multiple bays, equipped with an oscilloscope, variable power supply and measuring equipment. We also have a central store of calibrated instruments for creating traceable measurements against international standards.
