Currently, capacitive sensors are challenging to simulate due to their geometry. With variable moving parts and the time consuming process of running the model in multiple positions being a common problem, COMSOL® software can demonstrate computationally effective and efficient ways to simulate capacitive sensors.
In the webinar, we will explore:
- FEM and BEM methods for capacitive modelling with COMSOL Multiphysics®
- Multi-scale simulation using equivalent circuit models
- Combining resistance and capacitance predictions under AC conditions
