A roadmap for regenerative healthcare in personal care
Our client asked:
Our client wanted to use dry concentrate in their dispensing system to improve the stability of critical components and reduce associated costs.
The project story:
- The Sagentia Innovation team first agreed requirements with the client and then undertook a survey of mature dispensing technologies along with service offerings, to gain an understanding of the landscape
- We then carried out an internal ideation session to map out the system functionality in terms of the life cycle, from concentrate production to finished product. We focussed on the user experience and the most technically challenging stages of the process and ideated around how they could be undertaken
- We then carried out an in-person ideation workshop with key experts from Sagentia Innovation and members of the core client team. By following a divergent-convergent conception process and development of a morphological map, we generated whole-system concepts
- After the workshop, the Sagentia Innovation team worked up the prioritised concepts further, including illustrations and high-level schematics, reasons to believe, key risks and recommended next steps
Results: deliverables and outcomes
We delivered an impactful report, including worked-up concepts. The report also included the output of the initial landscape work and internal ideation sessions, along with raw ideation workshop outputs. The client used this report as part of an internal process to consider the next steps in product development.
