Who should we have on our Scientific Advisory Board?
A successful Scientific Advisory Board
was established and has been running
several years.
A Scientific Advisory Board was set up with the experts that we
identified and has been successfully running for several years.
The board continues to provide guidance and insight to the client on
future technology strategy direction.
Our client asked:
Client wished to set up a Scientific Advisory Board with expertise in a
key technology platform of strategic importance to the food industry
for the future.
The project story:
The client wished to leverage knowledge and expertise from different
geographic regions (Asia, Europe, Americas) because, to date, they
felt they were too insular in their approach and only consulted with
local experts.
Initially we held internal consultations with key stakeholders within
the company to understand their specific needs in relation to the
advisory board. From this we identified global experts aligned
with the key technology platform by reviewing publications and
undertaking detailed conversations to further understand expertise
and willingness to engage.
Experts were then evaluated based on the breath of their expertise,
reputation, and willingness to engage.
Results: deliverables and outcomes
A Scientific Advisory Board was set up with the experts that we
identified and has been successfully running for several years.
It continues to provide guidance and insight to the client on the
direction of its future technology strategy.
