Our client wanted to develop a consumer
durable to reduce water usage in the home.

The project story:

Our team undertook a broad landscaping study to identify
current and emerging solutions, in the sector of interest as
well as in parallel industries in different geographic regions of
interest including Europe, the US and Asia.

We then used a combination of secondary research and
interviews with leading stakeholders to seek insights on
opportunities including with technology developers, experts
from parallel industries and regulators that gave insight on
current and future trends.

We assessed the technical and commercial applicability, as
well as time to market, to identify future opportunity spaces
for the client.

Results: deliverables and outcomes

A number of potential partners with highly relevant
technologies in development were identified and the client
set up a number of collaborations leading to the active
development of prototypes to test.
